AI Evaluation: Manus for Chemistry Educators
Evaluating the Role of Manus 1.5 in Chemistry Teaching and Learning
Created by Betty · Cathy · Suri — CTL1615H (UofT OISE)
Manus AI (from the Latin word for "hand") is the world's first fully autonomous AI agent designed to execute complex, multi-step tasks independently with minimal human supervision. Unlike traditional chatbots that simply provide information or suggestions, Manus AI can plan, research, execute, and deliver complete results—functioning more like a capable assistant than a passive tool.
This project offers a guided evaluation for chemistry educators, using Manus AI as a case study across five dimensions: pedagogical, technical, critical, ethical, and metacognitive.
Scenarios & Functions
